Der Leuchtturm von Walde steht seit 2022 unter Denkmalschutz und ist aufgrund seiner ursprünglichen Struktur auf schmiedeeisernen Pfählen einzigartig in Kontinentaleuropa. Sie bildet die Grenze zwischen Nordsee und Ärmelkanal. Die Vereinigung Environnement et Patrimoines du Calaisis bietet einen kommentierten Spaziergang am Strand, um die Geschichte des 1859 in Betrieb genommenen Leuchtturms zu verfolgen. Der Weg führt über die Düne und dann über den Strand an der Grenze zum nassen Sand (keine Schwierigkeiten für einen Wanderer). Es ist für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität nicht zugänglich. Sport- oder Wanderschuhe sind ausreichend. Für ein warmes Outfit sorgen, da oft starker Wind vorhanden ist (die Nähe zur Segelwagenbasis von Marcks Hemmes ist nicht zufällig). Die Anwesenheit einer Robbenkolonie auf der Sandbank ist nicht ungewöhnlich. Die Maßnahmen des gesunden Menschenverstands, um sie nicht zu stören, gelten ausnahmslos. Fernglas und Kamera mitbringen. NB: Der Gezeitenkoeffizient erlaubt es nicht, den Meeresarm sicher zu umgehen und zum Fuße des Leuchtturms zu gelangen. Die Beobachtung erfolgt 200-300 m vom Gebäude entfernt. Rückkehr zum Parkplatz auf dem gleichen Weg (a priori um 10.15 Uhr). Bei ungünstigen Wetterprognosen behält sich das EPAC das Recht vor, die Ausfahrt am Sonntag 17/09 um 08:45 Uhr auf den nächsten Tag zu verschieben oder sogar zu stornieren. Wir freuen uns auf Sie!

Listed as a Historic Monument since 2022, the Walde Lighthouse is unique in continental Europe due to its original structure on wrought iron piles. It materializes the boundary between the North Sea and the Channel. The association Environnement et Patrimoines du Calaisis offers a guided walk on the beach to retrace the history of the lighthouse, put into service in 1859. The course crosses the dune and then takes the beach at the edge of the wet sand (no difficulty for a walker). It is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Sports or hiking shoes are enough. Provide a warm outfit because a strong wind is often present (the proximity of the sand yachting base of the Hemmes de Marck is not due to chance). The presence of a seal colony on the sandbar is not uncommon. Common sense measures to not disturb them apply without exception. Bring binoculars and a camera. NB: The tidal coefficient does not allow to bypass the inlet safely and to get to the foot of the lighthouse. The observation will be 200-300 m from the building. Return to the car park by the same path (a priori around 10:15). In case of unfavorable weather forecast, the EPAC reserves the right to postpone the exit to the next day Sunday 17/09 at 08:45 or to cancel it. Looking forward to meeting you!

Iscritto come monumento storico dal 2022, il Faro di Walde è unico nell'Europa continentale per la sua struttura originale su pali in ferro battuto. Esso rappresenta il confine tra il Mare del Nord e la Manica. L'associazione Environnement et Patrimoines du Calaisis propone una passeggiata commentata sulla spiaggia per ripercorrere la storia del faro, messo in servizio nel 1859. Il percorso attraversa la duna e poi prende la spiaggia al limite della sabbia bagnata (nessuna difficoltà per un camminatore). Non è accessibile alle persone con mobilità ridotta. Bastano scarpe da ginnastica o da trekking. Prevedere una tenuta calda perché è spesso presente un vento sostenuto (la vicinanza della base del carro a vela degli Hemmes di Marck non è casuale). La presenza di una colonia di foche sul banco di sabbia non è rara. Le misure di buon senso per non disturbarli si applicano senza eccezioni. Prevedere binocoli e una macchina fotografica. NB: Il coefficiente di marea non permette di aggirare il braccio di mare in sicurezza e di recarsi ai piedi del faro. L'osservazione avverrà a 200-300 m dall'edificio. Ritorno al parcheggio per lo stesso percorso (a priori verso le 10:15). In caso di previsioni meteorologiche avverse, l'EPAC si riserva il diritto di posticipare l'uscita al giorno successivo, domenica 17/09, alle 08:45, o di annullarla. Non vediamo l'ora di incontrarvi!

Inscrit Monument Historique depuis 2022, le Phare de Walde est unique en Europe continentale de par sa structure originale sur pieux en fer forgé. Il matérialise la limite entre Mer du Nord et Manche.
L’association Environnement et Patrimoines du Calaisis propose une promenade commentée sur la plage afin de retracer l’histoire du phare, mis en service en 1859.
Le parcours franchit la dune puis emprunte la plage à la limite du sable mouillé (pas de difficulté pour un marcheur). Il n’est pas accessible aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Des chaussures de sport ou de randonnée suffisent.
Prévoir une tenue chaude car un vent soutenu est souvent présent (la proximité de la base de char à voile des Hemmes de Marck n’est pas due au hasard).
La présence d’une colonie de phoques sur le banc de sable n’est pas rare. Les mesures de bon sens pour ne pas les déranger s’appliquent sans exception. Prévoir des jumelles et un appareil photo.
NB : Le coefficient de marée ne permet pas de contourner le bras de mer en sécurité et de se rendre au pied du phare. L’observation se fera à 200-300 m de l’édifice.
Retour au parking par le même chemin (a priori vers 10h15).
En cas de prévisions météo défavorables, l’EPAC se réserve le droit de reporter la sortie au lendemain dimanche 17/09 à 08h45, voire de l’annuler.

Declarado Monumento Histórico desde 2022, el Faro de Walde es único en Europa continental por su estructura original sobre pilotes de hierro forjado. Representa el límite entre el Mar del Norte y el Canal de la Mancha. La asociación Environnement et Patrimoines du Calaisis propone un paseo comentado por la playa para trazar la historia del faro, puesto en servicio en 1859. El recorrido cruza la duna y luego toma la playa al borde de la arena mojada (sin dificultad para un caminante). No es accesible para personas con movilidad reducida. Basta con calzado deportivo o de senderismo. Prever un atuendo cálido porque a menudo está presente un viento sostenido (la proximidad de la base de carro de vela de los Hemmes de Marck no se debe al azar). La presencia de una colonia de focas en el banco de arena no es infrecuente. Las medidas de sentido común para no molestarlos se aplican sin excepción. Prever binoculares y una cámara. Nota: El coeficiente de marea no permite evitar el brazo de mar de forma segura y llegar al pie del faro. La observación se hará a 200-300 m del edificio. Vuelta al aparcamiento por el mismo camino (a priori hacia las 10:15). En caso de pronósticos meteorológicos desfavorables, la EPAC se reserva el derecho de aplazar la salida al día siguiente el domingo 17/09 a las 08:45, o incluso de cancelarla. ¡Espero con ansias conocerte!
