The history(story) of the village is strongly bound(connected) to the presence of the monks who cleared(opened up) and installed(settled) monasteries (Boulancourt-Puellemontier) and the Abbey of Montier-en-Der. The church is established(constituted) of a culminated Romance nave, a square chorus(choir) introduced by a triumphal bow(arc), and of an apse in five pieces of the XIIIth century. In the South, an unique(only) shoulder vaulted date by the XVIth century. On the West, represent a small Romanic portal(gate) topped with a niche sheltering a statue of the Madonna and Child, sheltered by an attractive rural hall. Glazier's dates for the main part of the XIXth century. To note a picture(board) on wood of the baptism of the Christ; and especially a cross of cemetery quadrilobée stone listed(classified) the (XIIth) century.
