As part of the theme of the 40th European Heritage Days, the Heritage Service makes you discover the long history of water sports in Sedan. Practiced in Sedan since the late nineteenth century, water sports have marked the landscape and history of the city. Let yourself be guided along the water and go up the Meuse to discover 140 years of sporting history.

These former bathhouses, built from 1913 to 1921, were transformed into the Maison des Syndicats in the early 1980s. Damaged by a disaster in 2010, the building was restored, equipped with a new extension to install a Centre of Interpretation of Architecture and Heritage (CIAP).
The Heritage House is a Centre of Interpretation of Architecture and Heritage: a place that presents Sedan in its urban, historical and architectural dimension.
This equipment aims to give residents and tourists the keys to understanding the heritage of the city of Sedan. It includes a permanent exhibition and a temporary exhibition room. There are signs, but also videos, models, materials, and elements to handle.
