It seems that the parish of Raucourt-et-Flaba was founded in the year 400 AD. The Saint-Nicaise church, meanwhile, dates from 1061, according to archives.
The church has retained a trappy morphology of the time, but was extensively altered later in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
Inside, there are three altars and remarkable baptismal fonts composed of a carved Givet stone vat.
