The church listed(classified) among historic monuments is devoted to Saint Peter(dory) and Saint-Paul and goes back up(raises) in the first years of the XVIth century. It was vandalized during the wars of religion, then rebuilt in 1677, by the members of a religious order of Montier-la-Celle.

The tympanum glorifies the triumphal crowning of the Virgin(Virgo) by the Trinity. Windows date the beginning of the XVIth century, in particular those around the high altar.

The church of Verrieres has two bells granted to the La, melted in 1803 and weighing 450 kg, and on the Sol, melted in 1815 and weighing 350 kg. The tower was built in 1863 with the «powerful assistance of His Majesty Napoleon III» which offered at the time a gift of 4,000 Francs. The sanctuary of the chapel is illuminated by five ogival windows, four of which are illustrated by scenes of the life of Jesus in stained glass.
