More than 1,000 machines ranging from 1829 to the present day are presented in 7 different rooms: from the first in the world, invented by the French Barthélémy Thimonnier, to those on table, pedestal, piston, string, pocket that followed.
Know that day and night, from your cradle to your coffin, you are and will always be a few centimeters from something that required a sewing machine!
This year, the members of the Association of Friends of the Museum will receive you dressed in period clothes 1900 created especially for this occasion by the team of 15 volunteers.
A unique opportunity to discover or rediscover this extraordinary place!

The Museum contains the largest collection of sewing machines for children and adults, throughout the ages, as well as rare pieces. We revive this Museum originally created by Mr and Mrs Cordier, taken over by their son.
