Built in the eighteenth century by Monsieur De Valville, collector of taxes, the building was bought by the city of Nogent-sur-Seine in 1833 to install its administration. The town hall occupied these premises in 1817 following the destruction of the old building. It will remain so until the destruction of its extension in 1986, which today houses all municipal services.
