Anne-Marie Aréthens has been painting for more than twenty years.
"I have explored many techniques, particularly knife painting. Then, my perfectionist side oriented me towards flat areas and lines, a little in the spirit of cubism. I create very colorful paintings, all in perspective." Among his favorites: the lithographs of Aurélien Ortega and the way he impregnated his works of light. Kind of an inspiration. And among the paintings she reveals: winks to Brittany, atypical streets of the South or the English Jard of Châlons.
Anne-Marie has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout France with the Société Artistique des Groupes La Poste et Orange, and in Châlons with Art Vivant.
She exhibited alone at the priory of Vinetz, for the first time.
«My very colorful painting is made with acrylic paint, which is very suitable for making flat areas and lines, with as theme architectural landscapes and perspectives always present in my paintings».

In Middle Ages, the priory of Vinetz was a convent of Benedictines located next to the old(former) bed of the Marne in the hamlet of Vinetz. At origin, he(it) depended on the abbey of Juilly (in Seine-et-Marne), then of that of Molesmes (in Côte-d'Or). Destroyed, except for the small chapel, in 1544, during the passage of the army of Charles the Fifth, he(it) will be only partly rebuilt and the ladies of the congregation will leave him(it) definitely in 1622 to go to become established in Châlons in the old(former) convent of located Récollets «street in cows» (become later «street of Vinetz»). The old(former) convent is the property of the department and serves as restaurant of company, a building(ship) rebuilt in the XIXth century is affected(allocated) for departmental archives, the chapel is used for temporary exhibitions(exposures) and two wings receive the service(department) of departmental solidarity. The centre is currently the place(square) of the forum of Europe, esplanade covered with shards and matt having flags in the colours of the European countries.
