Celebrating sharing, openness to the world, a taste for the collection and a love of nature, this is what the Taste the World exhibition proposes. The Banquet of Wonders. Bringing together exceptional works by Louis Majorelle, Emile Gallé, Claude Lalanne, Christofle and great contemporary designers, it brings together nearly two hundred pieces around the celebration of the living through the artistic prism.
A tribute to the collectors of Château Perrier and Maison Perrier-Jouët, the exhibition is an opening to the world in which the relationship between nature and culture is revealed.
From 16 September to 11 December
Exhibition co-organized by the Champagne and Regional Archaeology Wine Museum and the Maison Perrier-Jouët

À propos du lieu

The museum is located in the Château Perrier, a 19th-century building classified as a Historic Monument since 2013\. Built between 1852 and 1857 by Sparnacian architect Pierre-Eugène Cordier, the Château Perrier is the first testimony in the region of Eclecticism, an architectural style.
The four facades are inspired by the architecture of the French Renaissance and the Louis XIII style, like Parisian buildings such as the Palais du Luxembourg, the Palais des Tuileries or the Lescot wing of the Palais du Louvre. The sculpted decorations are animated by the play of colour of the materials: brick, stone, slate and glass.
The interior decorations, inlaid parquet floors or the neo-eighteenth-century grille were made by artisans who also created the decorations for the Opéra Garnier or the Hôtel de Ville de Paris.
