*_Hidden under the dusty bindings of ancient books, marbled paper is an artisanal decorative art that had almost disappeared with the advent of serial printed productions.
Inscribed in 2014 on the representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity, the Ebru, or marbled paper in the tank, is a traditional Turkish decoration technique, the principle of which is to project paint on water previously thickened, then to transpose it on a sheet of paper by capillarity.
For the result to be remarkable, it is necessary that the marbler perfectly masters the subtlety of the dosages and the gesture for a creation of original patterns: created by hand each marbled page is different.
