The tile factory was built in 1827 on old lime kilns. The chapel was built in 1894 on one of the buildings of the Tuilerie, with an access to a small crypt containing a tomb realized at the school of saintery in Vendœuvre. The ovens are now restored. The Oblate sisters still live there.
