Église Saint-Marc

Saint-Marc Church of the 12th-15th-16th-19th centuries. The village was the seat of a priory of the abbey of Tiron, following donations made in 1133 by the viscount of Châteaudun. At the time, the parish was that of Bouffry, then a church was built whose first written mention is 1147\. This priory was then united with that of the Chapelle-Vicomtesse and the two assigned in the eighteenth century to the mense of the seminary of Blois. The north wall of the church still belongs to this primitive construction, but in the fifteenth and sixteenth century the building was enlarged to the east and south. The bedside is straight, pierced by a large bay with a flamboyant Gothic replacement. In the 19th century, a neo-Gothic bell tower and porch were added in front of the façade. The choir is decorated with three altarpieces from the late 18th century and a communion table from the same period. A bell dates from 1752.
