«The alliance(wedding ring) of a castle of the Val de Loire and its gardens»: Cheverny is one of the castles most magnificently furnished and its classic facade of the XVIIth century in white tufa contrasts with the lawns which surround it. This private castle and always lived by the same family for more than six centuries is open to the public since 1922, each of generations tried hard to maintain and to prettify the domain. Recently the Marchioness and the marquess de Vibraye attempted "to humanise" the castle by creating on one hand for the Marchioness "his" vegetable garden and by imagining a garden of contemporary enjoyment(approval) for the Marquess. In a symmetry improved since the railing(bar) of the Domain, align themselves in turn, the lawn, the vegetable garden, the common(shared), the English-style park, the castle, the garden of contemporary enjoyment(approval) and the Orangery. The 2 100 m2 vegetable garden evolves as the seasons go by. Flowers, fruit Shrubs, vegetables and rows(ranks) of vineyards(vines) mix in squares. The kitchen garden adjoins the kennel where lives the pack of the crew(equipage) of Cheverny, centre of hunting. The back facade of the Orangery opens its prospect(perspective) on a garden of contemporary enjoyment(approval). Divided into rooms(chambers) of greenery and of flowers, adorned with a pond, with hedges(hurdles) and with fruit trees cut in topiary, he invites in dawdling, in rest. The English-style park of the castle mixes(involves) rare and majestic trees sometimes "huge" just like sequoias. All these gasolines(essences) reveal their flavours(perfumes) in small cars and in electrical small boats.
