Jean-Louis Paris, painter in Baugy, will exhibit his paintings in the chapel. Volunteers from the Balgycien18 Heritage Association will be on duty to tell you the history of the building and show you the paintings of Monsieur Paris.

It is perched on a small hill from which one dominates the surrounding landscape. In 1870, according to legend, Claude Gindre promised to build a chapel if the Prussians did not cross the Loire. As was the case in 1873, a chapel was built. Like its model that dominates the Saône, the small chapel dominates the Vauvise valley.
