During a walk through the streets of Yermenonville, you will discover a village that has hardly changed, from the Middle Ages to the 1850s, with a 15th century church built by a lord enriched during the Hundred Years War. We will see the house of the old lords built from 1355, on the site of the old Gallo-Roman villa, where were also probably the first houses built in the Neolithic. We will also observe the traces of what was the slave village in the Gallo-Roman era. We can trace the life of the inhabitants until the nineteenth century.
