Église Saint-Hugues
Bourg 18520 Avord
The church of Saint Hugues depended, in 1133 of the chapter of Saint Outrille of the castle of Bourges. Romanesque in style, it is the western facade that represents all the interest of the church. The sacristy was established in the old choir and the choir under the tower. The latter is decorated with frescoes, the subject of which is related to the «legal traditio» according to which Christ appears between Saints Peter and Paul. These two figurines of bishops are painted at the entrance of the initial choir at the base of the triumphal arch.
