Château national d'Azay-le-Rideau
19 rue Balzac, 37190 Azay-le-Rideau
- Indre-et-Loire
- Centre-Val de Loire
Built under the reign of François Ier, the Château of Azay-le-Rideau represents the alliance(wedding ring) of the French house and of the Italian palace. His(Her,Its) architecture, his(her, its) sculpted decoration(set) and his(her, its) big(great) staircase manifest the new style of Renaissance. In the XIXth century, a profound restoration(catering) restores life in the building which from now on comes into sight from ornamental ponds in the middle of an English-style park.
