Salon des Métiers d'Art for school students: meetings with artisans and art restorers from the Centre-Val de Loire region
As part of the 40th edition of the Journées européennes du Patrimoine, the Domaine national de Chambord is organizing, in partnership with the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat Centre-Val de Loire, a Salon des Métiers d'Art in the Orléans Common Room and the castle courtyard.
The programme of the European Heritage Days has been designed to include the school public: the Salon des Métiers d'Art will be inaugurated as of Friday, September 15, 2023 to allow primary and college students from local institutions to enjoy the meetings, demonstrations and introductory workshops offered by artisans and art restorers.
Fourteen professionals from the Centre-Val de Loire region will discover their exceptional know-how in a wide range of fields: furniture and decoration, catering, ceramics, fashion and accessories, textiles, lighting, paper, metal and architecture.
All passionate, they will offer demonstrations and will be able to exchange with students on their career and career.
A play booklet will be offered free of charge to accompany students in their discovery of crafts. ***
