Free visit with informative brochure given to the visitor and signs arranged in the church. A virtual tour of the church of Saint-Pierre de Thimert (currently closed to the public) is offered to the visitor with slideshow and video. In the afternoon musical interludes (trumpet and keyboard duo)

Founded in the twelfth, under the belonging of the rich cathedral chapter of Chartres, the bulk of the building however dates from the beginning of the sixteenth, with the reconstruction and embellishment financed by the Illiers family, under the auspices of Deans Charles and Miles. Located in its parish enclosure, it surprises the visitor by its proportions, in view of the modest village that it dominates. Its main portal, typically Renaissance, in the sacristy a rare altarpiece of high value stone whose style and the finesse of the decoration recall the choir tower of Chartres, stained glass and woodwork of the choir, Pietà and Vierge to the child of the 2nd bay north, sculpted entrances of the frame.
