Some monuments still bear the trace of this hotbed of innovations, recalling the importance of the city, then included among the «good cities» of the kingdom of France.

Former Renaissance mansion, in which are installed the heritage service of the Town Hall of Loches as well as the Centre of Interpretation of Architecture and Heritage answering the Label City of art and history. On the ground floor: permanent exhibition rooms presenting the history of the city of Loches, temporary exhibition room hosting exhibitions of local artists. Upstairs: offices of the Heritage Service and teaching room.
