The Quartier des Arts is an association created in 2014 to bring together artists and artisans from the historic district of Vieux-Tours. The Quartier des Arts is also a collective of 25 actors of the crafts: artists, craftsmen, gallerists, painters, graphic designers, sculptors, ceramists, cabinetmakers, luthiers, restorer of paintings...often installed in old houses with remarkable architecture. The Quartier des Arts is finally a route, a marked circuit, allowing tourists and Tourangeaux to discover the workshops of artists, traditional know-how, secrets of manufacture of artisans, finds of gallerists. A stroll in the heart of Old Tours, between historical monuments and crafts.
