On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, enjoy a guided tour of the Musée de l'Élevage et du Charolais, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September from 3pm to 4pm. You will discover the life of our grandparents, formerly in the Morvan, the Rented (work fair) where people went in search of a job, the story of the Rouge du Morvan, a rough, courageous, hard-working little cow, the story of the Charolaise, its arrival in the Morvan, its acclimation, its route from 1800 to the present day, the history of the evolution over the years of a landscape, its inhabitants, and its animals. You will also discover the job of cow-calf breeder of Charolaises with all its constraints and its joys, the love of cows, of the earth, despite all the difficulties of a job, of a thankless land, of crises and of increasingly complex international issues, over the years.
