Time has brought to light on its walls the fortunes and misfortunes of its owners. The castle was built in the 15th century on the ruins of an ancient fortress. Burned in 1636 by the Imperials, it was saved in 1680 and redecorated by the architect Lenoir dit Le Romain in 1756\. Finally, in 1860, he gained a gallery and a bridge.
