The Saint-Claude media library organises a visit to the reserves specially designed for children, followed by a creative workshop. After discovering the many ancient books kept in the media library, have fun making your own book. Complete the pages, fold, connect and cut the sheet to form a book before adding a nice custom cover. Title page, binding and illustrations will have no secrets for you.

Inaugurated on 27 January 2017, the Le Dôme media library is located in the former premises of the Banque de France, opposite the Saint-Claude Cathedral. The building was the subject of an architectural project led by the firm Patrick Mauger. The challenge was to convert an austere building, by definition closed, into an open, bright, pleasant place, in the spirit of the «3rd place» libraries. The interior of the building, completely taken over, is now equipped with a dome overlooking the two mezzanine floors dedicated to the reception of the public. An auditorium replaces the vault.
