In comparison to a selection of works from the collection, Héloïse Desrivières interprets excerpts from her text «Goddesses, I make up so as not to cry», which features Astrid, a young, influential mother and nursing student, who decides to reveal her secrets to her subscribers. Wrapped in a wrap body, she shares without filters her difficult daily life as a single mom. In her bathroom, which has become the temple that allows her to exorcise her sufferings, Astrid, sometimes a witch, sometimes a wolf, metamorphoses through a magical night ritual that takes her from her bathtub to the wild space of the forest. This text deals head on with beauty, motherhood and its upheavals, the reappropriation of the body, the acceptance of oneself and the reconquest of desire.
