The images are taken from a local collection (André Vincent) and show current events in San-Claudienne and the surrounding mountains (duration: 45 minutes approximately).

The food cooperative la Fraternelle bought in 1894 the old Dumoulin house (attested in the 18th century and enlarged with two wings between 1855 and 1874), in which it converted a café, a grocery store, a bakery and housing. The Maison du Peuple was built in the gardens from 1908 to 1910 under the direction of architect Paul Mouret, following plans given in 1902 by architect Charles Meunier. Around 1920 a printing house and gymnasium are built. At this time, the Maison du Peuple includes: grocery store, restaurant, offices, meeting rooms, accommodation, theater, café, stable, warehouses, printing, library, meeting rooms, deli, creamery, roasting workshop, bakery, cold rooms, warehouses and cellars, gymnasium, trade union headquarters, the Labour Exchange and the newspaper Jura Socialiste. In 1925, it had 4,173 members. It became the Coopérateurs du Jura in 1965 and then merged with the Union des Coopérateurs in 1984\.
