There is no record in the oral tradition, no vestige, and no written record to suggest that the place of worship occupied a place other than that of the church we know today. The first description dated 1613 (during a pastoral visit) presents. A modest building, but in good condition. The current building, made up of alternating layers of pebbles of the Rhône, cut stones and bricks, has been redesigned many times. Almost completely destroyed by the revolution, it will be rebuilt in the first half of the nineteenth century, a new bell tower will be erected in 1842\. In 1844, the north wall was consolidated by a chapel. The restorations of the late twentieth century highlighted the building both outdoors and indoors. During 2005, its enclosure wall was completely redone. Of rather Romanesque inspiration as a whole, one notes however a Gothic bay lanceolate on the southern facade.
