The castle of Parentignat, called small Versailles from Auvergne by Henry Pourrat is a prerequisite for the curious visitor. Epargné in Revolution, it shelters one of the most important collections deprived of paintings(paints) of French grand masters today of the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries. Visit will allow you to discover the different successions of lounges(shows), the dining room, the rooms(chambers) of splendours which still keep(preserve) a lot of their furniture of origin and the library(bookcase) with its 20 000 volumes. A walk among the trees of the splendid English-style park complètera agreeably your visit.
