The thatched cottage of Clastre is one of the last witnesses of the traditional architecture of the Haut Val de Loire with its double cover in lauzes and brooms. After 3 years of restoration work, the farm is now fully accessible to the public. L'Hort de Clastre: in the continuity of its action on the safeguarding of the local architectural heritage, Liger is also interested in the flora of the central massif and therefore puts it in the spotlight in a pleasant environment and open to all. Indeed, in the meadow adjoining the farm, the association Liger develops a botanical garden and, more precisely, ethnobotany. The founder of Liger spoke at the time of herboretum. The term changed to hort, which also means "herb garden" in patois. In reference to Clastre’s religious past, a monastic square was recreated.

In the course of renovation, the thatched cottage of Clastre is one of the last witnesses(batons) of the traditional architecture of the High Val de Loire with its double coverage(cover) in lauzes and in brooms. External renovation is on the way to being finished(ended) and it is from now on the inside of the farm that is going to be the object of all attentions. Once finished(ended) renovation, this farm should become a place of culture and of transmission and to shelter exhibitions(exposures) on architecture and botany. The Hort de Clastre: in the continuity of its action(share) on the protection(saving) of the local architectural heritage, Liger is also interested in the flora of the Massif Central and puts it therefore in honour in a pleasant and open environment to all. Indeed, in a meadow annexed to the farm, the Liger association does botanical gardens up and, more exactly, ethnobotanics. The founder of Liger spoke at the time of herboretum. Term changed to the advantage of hort, who(which) also means "garden in herbs" in dialect. In reference to the religious past of Clastre, a monastic square was recreated.
