The Museum of the firemen of the Loire joins with the Castle of Bruneaux and the space Corbusier in l' cultural area of the City of Firminy. Over more than 1850 m ² the presented materials(equipments) redraw the two centuries of the life of our firemen. A set(group) pumps manual of the City of Yssingeaux dating of 1894 sit enthroned among several rooms(parts,plays) of this time(period). A stream pump Tirion entirely repaired by the firemen of Firminy also finds place(square) in the collection. An unique(only) room(part,play) is present at the Museum, it is about retort(replica) in 1/24 of the fire station of Dieppe with all these machines realised by an old(former) fireman with some newsprint and some cardboard(box). Vehicles are has the scale(ladder) and fact from official plans. A play way of narrating children in history(story) and evolution of the material(equipment) across ages. A van Somua of 1921 is presented to the public. Property of a collector private and the put in convention(agreement) with the Museum, he was acquired by the arsenal of Brest and resold in the city of Caen or he finishes his career(quarry).
