For the occasion, the association Ô près de mon arbre, offers a playful discovery of lime wood puppets and a herbarium. The puppets will guide the public through the exhibition of a herbarium created 48 years ago, (by Jean Marie Permingeat during his botanical forest studies) with 80 species of trees from the French mainland. The course embellished with the play of puppets, will end with a tree reading: recognition of the botanical essence, territorial indications of the species and its human use. The duration of the animation and about 40 minutes.

The wood of the Vaumane is a wood from a thicket of pubescent oaks which is part of an old farm of 200 years of existence and which is made available by its owners to the association O near my tree for its activities related to nature and art. The trees come from natural seedings (not planted) and also from rejections after their use by the activities of the farm on the land from which they grew: feeding livestock and heating. The oldest oak is bicentenary, near it, a young linden tree grew naturally. The presence in the understory of hawthorn shrubs and various herbaceous plants, contributes to the biodiversity of flora and fauna.
