Objects of communication, the posters of the theatre of Guignol translate as much the spirit of a show as that of an era. The Guignol Theatre Museum in Brindas keeps dozens of documents of this type in its archives, some dating back more than a century. Associated with those of the Gadagne Museums, the Friends of Guignol and Lyon and various companies of Guignolists, these posters show new facets of the history of the most famous puppet: the history of the Lyon companies, the place of the tours, the diversity of performances and repertoires but also a part of the history of graphic arts.
Guided tours of the exhibition Saturday and Sunday at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, duration 30 minutes, without reservation.
Throughout these afternoons, workshops «Create your poster!» are offered.
