Created by Mathilde Piganeau, the company Fous Divertissants brings together singers who have specialized in the baroque musical repertoire at the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles. On the program, works by Guillaume Bouzignac, one of the most remarkable French composers of the French school of the early seventeenth century and perhaps a close friend of Duke Henri II de Montmorency, and Marc-Antoine Charpentier, another great composer of sacred music in France in the 17th century. The melodies and songs, influenced by Italian music, will make you travel in the baroque period in the heart of the Saint-Joseph chapel and its striking classical architecture.
