The first stones of the castle of Ventadour date from the twelfth century. It was enlarged until the sixteenth then abandoned. In 1969, it was bought in ruins by Pierre Pottier. Today largely rebuilt, it hosts a volunteer site every summer.
Access: parking at the foot of the spur. a 350m calade to climb allows access to the castle. Visits are not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
