The museum’s reserves, located in Vaulx-en-Velin near the Carré de Soie, make it possible to preserve all the vehicles, hand pumps and motor pumps that make up the museum’s collections. These few hundred and fifty vehicles are ordinary invisible to the public.
It is in this space that the team and volunteers restore the vehicles to allow their presentation to the public. Recently, the Berliet (CBA) pump van of 1919 passed into the hands of our mechanics. The vehicle is now completely restored.
