The Town Hall in the pseudo-Renaissance style typical of the late nineteenth century was built from 1882 (laying the first stone) by architects Victor Dutocq and Charles Simonet. The stone facade is 40 meters high. A large porch supports the first floor. The entire building is richly decorated with columns, stucco and gilding. Numerous sculptures and paintings trace the history of the city.
