It was in XV ° century a hunting lodge on an island of the Rhône, in 3 km in Tarascon. Fin XIX °, 4 hectare property is offered to the fathers Carmelites who build a monastery there to welcome young people until 1940\. Between 1940 and 1963, the monastery opens to groups for pensions and sessions of carmélitaines spiritualities. In 1963, the father Marie Eugene, provincial de l' Ordre, asks the Institute Notre-Dame of Life to organise in small Castelet boys' primary boarding school(internship).
