The Cité des arts de la rue is a unique hub in Europe where shows dedicated to the public space are built and experienced. From this scenic laboratory of nearly 4 ha, educational actions and cultural mediation, actions in favor of the defense of the environment in urban environment (defense of biodiversity, depollution, fight against global warming), action is being taken to promote employment. Today the rediscovery of the Aygalades river becomes the challenge of a future mode of urban development for Marseille capable of restoring and preserving its ecological corridors.
Since 2016, ApCAR-Cité des arts de la rue has been working on a professional integration project for the ecological restoration and enhancement of natural spaces. Action meets the challenges of employment, urban ecology and artistic creation. From the creation of the Garden of the waterfall adjoining the City of Street Arts, the project aims to create a pedestrian path that combines natural spaces and artistic install
