In addition, a documentary on his life and work, Le génie et le voile, will be screened on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. (Duration: 54 minutes).
A painter, draughtsman, engraver and master glassmaker, Mère Geneviève Gallois (1888-1962) was an extraordinarily talented multi-faceted artist. She joined the Benedictines in Paris in 1917 and composed a vast work, often mixing the text with the image, radiating the most modest moments of daily life, constantly oscillating between gravity, humour and deep jubilation. A fascinating spiritual and artistic itinerary.
