Claude Mckay, "From Harlem to Marseille"
Fiction, France | 1h20 | 2021. In the presence of the director Mathieu Verdeil
This film is a journey through the 1920s, from Marseille to Harlem, Jamaica, Russia and Morocco, in the footsteps of Jamaican-American writer Claude McKay. A rebel figure of the Harlem Renaissance, this unclassifiable author wanders for more than 10 years in Europe, frequenting the artistic and political avant-garde, and becomes a precursor of literature and the black cause.
