Relay located at the crossroads of 3 provinces: Brittany, Anjou and Poitou, where drivers of horse cars exchanged horses tired by the kms with horses rested to continue the roads... The horses could sleep and eat in this relay while their owners rested at the Hotel de l'Europe (opposite) before resuming the road the next day...
