The Association des Amis du Petit Anjou invites you to discover the fruit of 30 years of preservation and restoration of the industrial heritage of this departmental train (1893-1948/1955).
Since 2017, the historic train station located in Saint Jean de Linières has been undergoing restoration, with the assistance of the Heritage Foundation, to accommodate passenger cars, wagons, railcars and lorry.
You can discover an exhibition on the history of the Petit-Anjou on the ground floor of the passenger building and on the tour route, the two passenger cars (1st class car Ac21, and second class car B111 classified historical monument) and the railcar, which will be accessible according to the number of visitors, to take advantage of a 250-metre journey through the station right-of-way.
Throughout this visit, the association will share with you its project of a 7 to 8 km tourist line between Saint-Jean-de-linières and Angers for a trip out of time.
