In the twelfth century, the church depended on the priory of Saint-Etienne de la Roche-sur-Yon. The oldest mention XIIIè s. appears in the cartular of the priory of La Roche: 1212\. Dependence of the priory until 1640\. 1568: the church is ruined by the Huguenots. 1648: the cure is for the appointment of the Bishop of Luçon. The church had to be restored in the middle of the XVIIth century. It was restored again in the last century, and has not known since notable events.
