The manor was built from 1881 in a style combining the flamboyant inspiration of the 15th century with the neo-Gothic movement. The owner appealed to the architect Evariste Simon but the house truly bears the imprint of the master of the place who attached special care to the second work, in particular to the elements of ironwork. The overall design of the house is inspired by medieval imagery and the fantasies of nature. Located on a natural site, the manor house is accompanied by a landscaped garden on the hillside.
