The heritage of the Mines de fer de Segré is, in Nyoiseau, colossal: wells, horses, machines of the «tiles» of Wood II and Wood III and their annexes, vestiges of the workshops of crushing and of the pelletizing plant. The former mines, the slurry-treatment pond, the pavilions of Bois II and its chapel constitute their close environment. But the subject also extends to the other cities and mining or industrial sites of the basin, from Noyant la Gravoyère to Segré city of the former headquarters, the power plant, the carreau de l'Oudon. Beyond to the west, the connection will be made with the mine of Chazé-Henri, the Forges de Pouancé, the Pays de Châteaubriant, the Mines de fer de Rougé et de le Brutz in the framework of the iron field of Anjou-Bretagne. A heritage of countries, to consider and value as a whole. In 2015, the collective celebrates the 30 years of closure of the mine.
