Considered the largest entertainment building in the West, its construction dates back to the beginning of the 2nd century AD under the reign of the Antoninus emperors. The site could accommodate 5,000 spectators eager to witness gladiator exploits or hunting scenes.
The association AuGuRA (Association Gennoise de Recherches Archéologiques) offers you a guided tour on Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm and a theatrical tour on Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 pm.
