You love history, you love stories… You love Durtalois, Baracé and his past… You like crazy, even romantic misadventures… In this context, we have revived a surprising historical fact: "December 1781, a bourgeois from Durtal is found dead, by accident or... Seventeen people are being interviewed, and Pierre Pavard, Baracé’s barber, is at the heart of the matter!” To do this, we asked the Baracéens to come and play some sketches, which we filmed. This short film will be streamed during these Heritage Days, on September 17 and 18, at the library of Baracé. An exhibition, original archives, ancient books, engravings, a genealogy of the Benoist family, historical objects… will also be there to immerse you in this distant past, which is ours! A dissertation entitled "Un fait divers pour appréhender Histoire et mentalis locales de la fin de l'Ancien Régime'', probable future work, comes to enrich these Heritage Days.
