Antoine Birot nutzt Volumen, Raum und Bewegung, um das Universum um ihn herum zu übersetzen. Er versucht, selbst schwerste Materialien in ein Symbol für Leichtigkeit und Poesie zu verwandeln. Seine Werke hauchen trägen Materialien Leben ein und wollen die Bewegung zu einer eigenständigen Technik machen und sich in den Ausdruck der kinetischen Kunst einfügen. Er praktiziert eine Reihe zeitgenössischer Medien, die ihm Freiheit in seiner künstlerischen Geste, Skulpturen, Videos, Installationen, Aufführungen geben. Das Verhältnis von Frauen und Männern zur Welt, der Ausdruck des Lebendigen und des Sensiblen im weiteren Sinne, stehen im Mittelpunkt seiner Schöpfungen. Für die Ausstellung Des matières, des souls Antoine Birot investiert zwei emblematische Orte von Saint-Florent-le-Vieil: das Haus Julien Gracq und die Abtei.

Antoine Birot uses volumes, space and movement to translate the universe around him. He seeks to transform even the heaviest materials into symbols of lightness and poetry. By breathing life into inert materials, his works have the will to make the movement a technique in its own right and is part of the expression of kinetic art. He practices a set of contemporary mediums that gives him a freedom in his artistic gesture, sculptures, videos, installations, performances. The relationship of women and men to the world, the expression of the living and the sensitive in the broad sense, are at the center of his creations. For the exhibition Des matières, des âmes Antoine Birot has invested two emblematic places of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil: the Maison Julien Gracq and the Abbey.

Antoine Birot utilise les volumes, l’espace et le mouvement pour traduire l’univers qui l’entoure. Il cherche à transformer les matériaux, même les plus pesants, en symbole de légèreté et de poésie.
En insufflant la vie à des matières inertes, ses œuvres ont pour volonté de faire du mouvement une technique à part entière et s’inscrive dans l’expression de l’Art cinétique.
Il pratique un ensemble de médiums contemporains qui lui donne une liberté dans son geste artistique, sculptures, vidéos, installations, performances.
Le rapport des femmes et des hommes au monde, l'expression du vivant et du sensible au sens large, sont au centre de ses créations.
Pour l’exposition Des matières, des âmes Antoine Birot investit deux lieux emblématiques de Saint-Florent-le-Vieil : la Maison Julien Gracq et l’Abbaye.

Antoine Birot utiliza los volúmenes, el espacio y el movimiento para traducir el universo que lo rodea. Busca transformar los materiales, incluso los más pesados, en símbolo de ligereza y poesía. Al insuflar vida a materias inertes, sus obras tienen por voluntad hacer del movimiento una técnica de pleno derecho y se inscribe en la expresión del Arte cinético. Practica un conjunto de medios contemporáneos que le da libertad en su gesto artístico, esculturas, videos, instalaciones, actuaciones. La relación de las mujeres y los hombres con el mundo, la expresión de lo vivo y de lo sensible en sentido amplio, están en el centro de sus creaciones. Para la exposición Des matières, almas Antoine Birot invierte dos lugares emblemáticos de Saint-Florent-le-Vieux: la Maison Julien Gracq y la Abadía.
