The departmental archives of the Vendée open for the first time their doors for the 2022 Heritage Days. These two days will be an opportunity to discover the exhibition "À la carte! Regards sur les pays de Riez, de Vie et de Monts" newly inaugurated, to participate in guided tours of the building and entertainment.
From September 17 to October 28, the Vendée Department is hosting the exhibition "À la carte! Regards sur les pays de Riez, de Vie et de Monts" in the departmental archives. Twenty-six panels presenting reproductions preserved in various institutions (BNF, Service historique de la Défense...) are presented. This exhibition, produced by Annie Antoine and Patrick Avrillas, provides a better understanding of the evolution and current state of landscapes as well as the way geographical maps are drawn and used over time.
