The sanctuary is the sacred place where the inhabitants of Noviodunum gathered to pray and honor their divinity. Located to the north of the ancient city, the shrine built in Roman times succeeds the Gallic place of worship. The restitution in augmented reality of the building now reveals all the majesty! In the company of the guide and tablet in hand, stroll along the galleries of the sanctuary, approach the temple of impressive proportions, let yourself be surprised by this monumental architecture with forgotten colors.

Jublains is considered the best and most extensive testimony of the Gallo-Roman era of western France. This exceptional site, a true book of ancient history in the open air, invites the visitor to immerse himself with delight and curiosity in this historical period whose oldest traces discovered in Jublains date from the 4th century BC.-C. A territory, almost equivalent to that of Mayenne, is then occupied by the Gaulish people of the Diablintes. During the 1st century A.D. a new town, Noviodunum, was created on the site of Jublains, which became the Gallo-Roman capital of the Diablinte city. The city is endowed with public monuments worthy of its rank of chief town: a temple, a forum, thermal baths, a theatre. The remains of these buildings and those of a spectacular fortress built later make the delight of visitors in love with archaeology and history. Since 1995, the Departmental Archaeological Museum of Jublains, where are presented the collections of Gallo-Roman archaeology in May
